If you see this banner ad online, DO NOT CLICK THROUGH IT.  It takes you to PuntGame.com, where they offer a “free” game membership for 5 days, before they start billing you $34.95 or $39.95 per month (I found both numbers in different places on their site).  In order to cancel this “free” membership, you have two choices: call their 877 number, knowing that it may take up to three days for them to cancel your membership (translation: it’s really only a 2-day free membership), or you can do an “express cancellation” online for a $0.99 charge to your credit card (translation: it’s a 99-cent, 2-day membership).  I suspect that many people pay that 99-cent “express cancellation” charge, as I did.  It’s a great scam!  I admit that I was fooled, because this ad appeared on a site where I enjoy a game online (http://www.pandapoet.com) with family members.  The ad looked like a new menubar for that game, which we have really enjoyed, and which I would gladly support with a little cash. But this banner ad is in not affiliated with them.  Don’t be scammed by PuntGame.  If you see this banner, ignore it.
That said, I highly recommend Panda Poet by Spry Fox.  It’s quite simple in concept, but strategic in execution.
