Ward Connerly acknowledged that minorities are scarce at tea party events he’s attended, but he attributed it to “the attitude that minorities often have about the political process.

Would the so-called attitude be, perhaps, because minorities don’t see anyone in government or in politics who represents them?  Everyone is too busy representing himself or herself to truly represent the rest of us.
